The Nissan Pathfinder is a line of sport utility vehicles produced by Nissan since 1985. Until the third generation, the Pathfinder was based on the compact pickup truck platform Nissan shared with the Navara/Frontier. The front end of the D21 (first generation) and R51 (third generation) Pathfinder is very similar to the Navara/Frontier up to the B-pillar.

Nissan Navara is a nameplate for Nissan pickup trucks with model codes D21, D22, D40 and D23. This nameplate is used in Australia, New Zealand, Central America, South America, Asia, Europe and South Africa. It is marketed as the Nissan Frontier or Nissan NP300 in North, Central and South America and select markets.
