Mitsubishi Outlander Engine Mk2 2.4 Petrol PHEV Engine Code 4B12 99kw 135bhp 18
The Mitsubishi Outlander 2007 2.4 Fashion Edition engine has low power consumption, high power, low fuel consumption, low sound and low vibration. This is the evaluation of this engine! The fuel consumption of Mitsubishi Outlander is very high, because it is equipped with a 2.4 naturally aspirated engine, so the fuel consumption will generally remain at about 12 liters per 100 kilometers

Characteristics
The cylinder head intake and exhaust ports as well as the intake and exhaust manifolds have been shape-optimized for better volumetric efficiency. Mitsubishi has reduced engine friction by elastically grinding the valve stems, using plastic impellers with high-efficiency shrouds in the water pump, and using 0W-20 low-viscosity motor oil. Mitsubishi has improved combustion efficiency by optimizing the design of the intake and exhaust ports of the cylinder head, adopting the MIVEC system on the intake and exhaust valves, and using injectors that deliver ultra-fine droplet fuel spray. To reduce the weight of the engine, Mitsubishi used die-cast aluminum for the cylinder block, plastic for the cylinder head cover and intake manifold, and stainless steel for the exhaust manifold. The engine features a compact balancer shaft module and an integrated oil pump. A silent chain is used to drive the camshafts. Low vibration and noise achieved by compact balancer module, silent chain, stable combustion by intake and exhaust MIVEC system, and high rigidity design of cylinder head and cylinder block
