Description
M274 refers to the longitudinal mounting layout for rear-wheel drive vehicles. Both engines share the same design with double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, variable valve timing, direct injection and are EU6 compliant. A 2.0 liter (1,991 cc) engine was introduced in September 2012 with an increased piston stroke to 92 mm (3.62 in), higher performance figures and a 9.8:1 compression ratio. The M274 engine has also been used in the Infiniti Q50 since 2014.
