Engine components for BMW N13B16 N55B30A N46B20 N14B16 N20B20
The advantages of the BMW N46B20 engine are simple process, wear resistance, stability, and the phenomenon of oil burning is alleviated as the gap decreases after the cylinder wall is run-in. The disadvantage is that the surface of the iron cylinder liner is relatively rough when the car is in the new state. During the engine running-in period, the gap between the piston ring and the cylinder liner is large, which is easy to burn oil. In addition, the thickness of the iron cylinder liner affects heat transfer.
