N63B44 is a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbocharged gasoline engine, one of BMW’s top power units. This engine has a reverse intake turbocharger system installed between the two exhaust cylinders and an intake manifold installed on the side, making the new V8 twin-turbocharged engine more compact. The engine also uses technologies such as an electric auxiliary coolant pump and a mid-mounted supercharger.
