The full name of this 1.0T three-cylinder engine is 1.0L EcoBoost GTDi. It uses in-cylinder direct injection, turbocharging and variable intake and exhaust timing technology. Although it has only a displacement of 1.0L, its maximum power reaches 92kW/6000rpm, maximum torque of 170Nm/1500-4500rpm, which is equivalent to the traditional 1.6L engine and even better than some 1.4T engines. The fuel economy of this engine is also excellent. The fuel consumption per 100 kilometers under comprehensive operating conditions is only 5.4L, which is 10% lower than the previous generation 1.6L engine.
