For Subaru EJ204 EJ205 gasoline engine

The advantages of Subaru engines are as follows:
1. The center of gravity is low. This advantage directly increases the driving stability of the vehicle. When cornering at high speed, the vehicle’s roll will become smaller, reducing the possibility of rollover
2. The height is low. If the cylinder is placed in a straight line, the height will naturally decrease, which is somewhat similar to the advantage of causing a low center of gravity;
3. Small vibration. This type of engine is different from other engines most notably in small vibration.

Description

The EJ engine is planned to be a horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine with a displacement ranging from 1.5L to 2.5L. World-leading high output with a displacement of 2.0L. When the displacement is 1944 cc, the bore stroke is 92.0 mm×75.0 mm, which is a large bore/short stroke, and the intake and exhaust valves have 4 valves of large diameter to thicken the intake and exhaust ports , which is typical. Through the high-power engine design method, a high speed of 7500 rpm can be achieved. The intake manifold is equipped with a low-speed/high-speed switchable variable intake system.
