Description
The Toyota Camry (/ˈkæmri/; Japanese: トヨタ・カムri Toyota Kamuri) is a vehicle sold internationally by Japanese automaker Toyota since 1982 and has evolved over several generations. Originally compact in size (narrowbody), the Camry has evolved since the 1990s to fit the midsize category (widebody), although both widths co-existed in the 1990s. Since the launch of the wide-body version, the Camry has been hailed by Toyota as the company’s second “world car” after the Corolla. As of 2022, the Camry is positioned above the Corolla and below the Avalon or Crown in several markets.
